Human Resource Development:

•  Training the staff working at the CDCs in specific teaching techniques and behavior management.

•  BASR's professionals trained staff working with children with special needs from Gaza and Jordan in CBR and special education for a one- month period.

•  BASR's administrative staff participated in two-week workshop in management.

•  Paramedical professionals from BASR undertook a six month training at Sheba medical center relevant to their specialty.

Difficulties:

The major difficulties that BASR encountered are related to the recurring closure of the areas, which hinders many patients from benefiting from our rehabilitation services. Besides, as a result of the deteriorating socio-economic conditions under the prevailing political situation, many patients could not afford to cover their treatment expenses which co-ersed BASR se expenses, particularly that referral by the Ministry Of Health lasts for only 15 days or a maximum of 30 days of hospitalization.

Another difficulty is related to lack of adequate funding for supporting the poor or social cases.
